CONTACT/TEAM PREFERENCES

A comment separate from your app with your name, email, and team preferences. Making it a separate comment lets us keep it screened, thus keeping your team preferences private.

For the time zone field, feel free to make a note if working bizarre hours makes you effectively on a different time zone than stated.

"Team preferences" is a catch-all field for any thoughts you might have regarding your character's placement. For example, you might want a team that will put up with your character's sociopathy, or has a certain "feel" to it, or is friendly to your time zone, or maybe you don't think your character looks good in orange, and so on! This is also the spot to let us know if there are teams you DON'T want to be on. While you're not required to put anything here, don't say you have no preference unless you really, honestly have NOTHING to say on the subject! If you've already apped and realized you'd forgotten something? Make another comment!

Character Name: self-explanatory
Canon: If the canon has multiple versions, please be specific.
Reference Link: A wiki link is preferable, but anything that has a summary of the canon works. If there is no picture on your link, please provide a reference picture as well. If there is really nothing to link, write a short (no more than 200 words) description of the canon and character appearance.

Character History: A brief summary of your character's background. Only the highlights, please! This section should not be more than 300 words long.
Personality: Can be longer than the history, if necessary, but again, please try to be succinct.

Character Name: Suoh Tamaki
Canon: Ouran High School Host Club (anime)

Character History:
Tamaki is the illegitimate son of the patriarch to the stupidly wealthy Suoh family, and has always lived a life of luxury. It hasn't always been easy, however. He spent most of his childhood trying to comfort and entertain a sick mother, and didn't have many friends. Eventually he was taken on as the Suoh heir, forced to cut contact with his mother and deal with a cruel grandmother.

Still, he decided to make the best of things, and as soon as he got to high school, he founded the Ouran Host Club, a club dedicated to entertaining the bored girls of his prestigious high school. It was in this way that he met Haruhi, a "commoner" who incurred a large debt to the club, and proceeded to develop all kinds of feelings for her that were obvious to everyone but him.

Personality:
As a host, Tamaki is the self-proclaimed "prince type," a charismatic young man who endeavors to charm every woman he meets. Despite the fact that he can be rather narcissistic and obnoxious about this, however, his intentions are actually pretty good. He honestly, genuinely wants to make women happy (and people in general, really).

Tamaki is quite sensitive and shows a great deal of empathy and kindness toward others. He'll frequently go out of his way to help and befriend people, even those who would plot against him. Though he's fairly in-tune with other people's feelings, he can be ridiculously dense about his own, particularly his love for Haruhi. This is partially due to his family issues and desire to think of the Host Club as his family, but also it's because he's kind of a moron.

Especially when he's around his friends, Tamaki is less of a prince and more of a hyper, flamboyant idiot. Melodramatic and overly-emotional, his ego is easily bruised but will snap back into place the second he is complimented. In general, he's a playful derp who just wants to goof off and have fun.

That depends on the uniform, now doesn't it? Are we talking a school uniform, military uniform? Modern or period piece? Do we have a theme? You know, before I decide, can I get the thread count on the socks? Thanks!

03. Not including mandatory periods of silence, what is the longest you have gone without talking?
Several hours every night! I like to call it "sleep!"

04. Are you plagued by suspicions that other people, including coworkers and relatives, may be doing things behind your back that will hurt you?
No, I can't say I've ever thought about it.

05. Other than a large egret, what wild animal would you like to domesticate?
Hmm, I don't know! There are just so many good options. How about a grizzly bear? I've always thought they looked so fetching in their tutus and little hats. Think how delighted everyone will be when they step into the host club and see a real life teddy bear! We could teach it to serve tea!

06. Are you functionally incapacitated by witnessing other people's misery?
I can't afford to be incapacitated. I'd want to be able to help them, even if it's just a little.

07. What is your favorite flatware for, purely as an example, eating cake?
Well, I'm fond enough of the Rocaille flatware we have at the estate, but I'd have to say I'm really impressed by commoners' forks. Did you know they have a fork that's also a spoon? Brilliant! Never underestimate commoners' ingenuity!

08. Do you trust yourself?
Who wouldn't trust a face like this?

09. Please list a crime that only you would know that you have committed.
You could say I'm criminally handsome! But I think that one's common knowledge~

10. If you disappeared tomorrow would anyone miss you?
Wh-what kind of a question is that? Of course they would! My whole club is waiting for Daddy to come home!
