Please read the rules regarding character appability.
CONTACT/TEAM PREFERENCES
A comment separate from your app with your name, email, and team preferences. Making it a separate comment lets us keep it screened, thus keeping your team preferences private.
For the time zone field, feel free to make a note if working bizarre hours makes you effectively on a different time zone than stated.
"Team preferences" is a catch-all field for any thoughts you might have regarding your character's placement. For example, you might want a team that will put up with your character's sociopathy, or has a certain "feel" to it, or is friendly to your time zone, or maybe you don't think your character looks good in orange, and so on! This is also the spot to let us know if there are teams you DON'T want to be on. While you're not required to put anything here, don't say you have no preference unless you really, honestly have NOTHING to say on the subject! If you've already apped and realized you'd forgotten something? Make another comment!
THE APP
Character Name: self-explanatory
Canon: If the canon has multiple versions, please be specific.
Reference Link: A wiki link is preferable, but anything that has a summary of the canon works. If there is no picture on your link, please provide a reference picture as well. If there is really nothing to link, write a short (no more than 200 words) description of the canon and character appearance.
Character History: A brief summary of your character's background. Only the highlights, please! This section should not be more than 300 words long.
Personality: Can be longer than the history, if necessary, but again, please try to be succinct.
Writing Sample: For this section, you have two choices:
1. Fill out an IC survey (copypaste below)
2. Write a first or third person sample on the subject of your choice. (~300-500 words)

Canon: Excel Saga (manga)

Character History: Excel is a loyal and hard-working member of ACROSS, a world conquest organization consisting of three nubile young women and a bishounen with a pit trap. She is perhaps not the best choice for a covert organization, considering her complete lack of common sense and the extent to which she loves the sound of her own voice, but then that's just how ACROSS rolls. Over the course of her canon, Excel spends several years in the "lower world of the ignorant masses," working hundreds of part time jobs - many of which went up in flames - and executing nearly a million (failed) missions under the completely useless guidance of Lord Il Palazzo, whom she admires, reveres, and worships like a god.
Eventually there's a seriously convoluted plot involving amnesia and bodyswapping and robots and angel souls and dead waifus and crazy schemes to defeat God. It's all very confusing and the only relevant part is that Excel thinks the plot is stupid and beats people up until it goes away. She then evolves into a higher life form, conquers the world, wins Il Palazzo's heart, and flies off into space. (No, really).
Personality: Excel is talkative, energetic, hard-working, deceptively smart, and endlessly loyal. At first glance, she seems like a confident, outgoing, happy-go-lucky sort of person, but the crazy runs deep. Excel is paranoid, cynical, petty, deeply insecure, and often outright mean. Her entire psyche is held together with duct tape and love for Lord Il Palazzo. She's also severely delusional in a lot of ways, and takes her ridiculous double-life as a world conqueror so seriously that she has to get amnesia just to make a friend.
Near the end of canon, however, she does grow in overall competence and has some good character growth. Her character arc basically involves building confidence, being true to herself, learning to deal with other people, and rigorous blows to the heads of all parties involved.

Huh, that's a pretty good question. How about Your Highness? Is that too much? It's not like I'm second-in-charge of the entire world or anything — oh wait, yes it is!
02. Do you require socks to be part of your uniform?
You bet your bytes I do! Socks, size six boots, 12-gauge shoulderpads, and a white cape! Chop chop!
03. Not including mandatory periods of silence, what is the longest you have gone without talking?
Uhh, are we counting periods while underwater, brain-damaged, or in a coma?
. . . You know what, let's just skip this question.
04. Are you plagued by suspicions that other people, including coworkers and relatives, may be doing things behind your back that will hurt you?
What? No! We're tied together by the infinite, unbreakable bonds of loyalty and the beatings that they will receive at the first sign of suspicious behavior!
. . . Wait, what are they doing? Did you see them doing it? You know what, never mind, I'll check on them myself.
05. Other than a large egret, what wild animal would you like to domesticate?
The octopus bigger than Mt. Fuji! It seems like a worthy ally.
06. Are you functionally incapacitated by witnessing other people's misery?
Nnnah.
07. What is your favorite flatware for, purely as an example, eating cake?
Wire clippers and some C4.
08. Do you trust yourself?
You betcha! And you should too! Just look at this trustworthy face!
09. Please list a crime that only you would know that you have committed.
You think you're pretty clever, huh? Well these lips ain't tellin you nothing! Not even the ones I did by accident! So there!
10. If you disappeared tomorrow would anyone miss you?
The whole world would mourn! Not to mention my glorious lord! Why don'tcha just put me back where you found me? No questions asked, very few punches thrown!
