Premise & General Info

The Enrichment Center is a multifandom RP set in the universe of Portal - specifically, within the confines of Aperture Science testing facility. Characters have been abducted from their homeworlds and are being held in storage while their cloned duplicates participate in a variety of experiments.
This game will last 1-2 years, depending on how the pacing ends up working out.
Canon familiarity with Portal is not necessary to play in this game, but the games come highly recommended! The first one is a short watch on youtube, or if you can handle a lot of FUN, cheap to buy on Steam! As for Half-Life universe... well, even your mods haven't finished playing them. So don't worry about it.

Clones are presorted into teams, and arrive in their team's area via pneumatic tube, completely naked.
Tests will be run approximately once a week, and will generally take the form of competitive games. Teams that perform well on tests will be rewarded, and those who do not will be punished. Generally, this will take the form of adding or removing points from the team.

Points are used to buy privileges. If a team's points go into the negative, privileges (such as food and running water) may be taken away. Points may be exchanged at any time, by any member of a team, with or without IC consultation (though please consult with your team OOCly). The exchange list will change frequently.
Points may be used to purchase things like new uniforms, helpful Aperture products, or modifications to your clone. Eventually, the option to send teammates home will appear (when they have applied for a good end).
Points may be spent in every quarters (or in the common room if GLaDOS feels like it). The current point listing is here. Check the second page of the spreadsheet for items available for purchase. The list will be changed or added to periodically.
If you want to thread out buying something with GLaDOS, give Excel a tap. For the most part, however, you can buy things on your own and edit the doc yourself. I trust you guys with the honor system!
Please note that the points system may take awhile to balance. Also, if you want something not on the list, let us know and we can make it happen (probably)!

There is a common room and quarters for each team.
A googledoc folder with descriptions of all the locations is here!
Also worth noting is that all elevators have Emancipation Grids on them. Items that were not purchased from GLaDOS (stolen from other teams, for example) will dissolve when you attempt to take them onto your elevator.

Uniforms look like this! Switch out orange with your team color (unless you're a Beta) and the tank top/underwear is either white or black, depending on which team you're in.
Uniforms do not come with shoes or socks.
Each new team member (that is NOT in a hobo slot) gets two full uniform sets.
The calendar can be found here!
