modified_device | Activity, Drops, and Hiatuses

ACTIVITY

☢ If you need to be afk for more than a week at a time, please call hiatus!

☢ The requirement is 100 comments per month. That may seem harsh, but since the game only allows one character per player, it's really not that much!

☢ During a month in which you are hiatused, your comment requirement goes down. If you hiatused for around one week, you must make 75 comments. If two weeks or more, 50 comments.

☢ Activity check is posted at the beginning of the month, and covers the month it is posted in. As soon as you've reached activity for that month, comment to the post and you're done for that month!

☢ You do NOT have to reach 100 comments on the month that a character is apped. You do, however, need to comment to show that you were playing during that time.

☢ Anyone who fails to respond or does not be meet AC will be idled.

☢ If you are idled, you may still reapp, as long as it does not become a recurring problem.

DROPS & HIATUSES

If you're planning on dropping or going on hiatus, you have a couple of IC options in regards to what happens to your character. These options are the same for both a drop and a hiatus! The only thing that changes with a drop is that the character is replaced on a team.

YOUR OPTIONS:

☢ Transfer to the product testing sections of the lab. If these characters are reapped, they will be expected to handwave all of the rigorous experimentation they did offscreen. Mods will provide a reapping product tester with what they tested and how much fun it was (protip: product testing is never fun).

☢ A lock-up in the system that remotely connects the clones with their original bodies. Characters who crash simply go into a coma while the computer attempts to sync them back up. Reapped characters will feel as though they've been sleeping for a long time, but not be any worse for wear.

☢ (PERMANENT DROPS ONLY) Eventually there will be an option for characters who have been around for awhile to be sent home.

Hiatus

If you're going to be gone for more than a week or so, please comment here to take an official hiatus. You don't need to be ICly gone if it's more than a week!

Also, you still need to make activity for the month! If you're going to be gone over the end of the week, please find the month's activity post and comment.

Drop

Comment with the following information:
☢ "Drop" in the subject
☢ Which character is being dropped
☢ Whether they are being transferred or de-synced
