Please read the rules regarding character appability.
CONTACT/TEAM PREFERENCES
A comment separate from your app with your name, email, and team preferences. Making it a separate comment lets us keep it screened, thus keeping your team preferences private.
For the time zone field, feel free to make a note if working bizarre hours makes you effectively on a different time zone than stated.
"Team preferences" is a catch-all field for any thoughts you might have regarding your character's placement. For example, you might want a team that will put up with your character's sociopathy, or has a certain "feel" to it, or is friendly to your time zone, or maybe you don't think your character looks good in orange, and so on! This is also the spot to let us know if there are teams you DON'T want to be on. While you're not required to put anything here, don't say you have no preference unless you really, honestly have NOTHING to say on the subject! If you've already apped and realized you'd forgotten something? Make another comment!
THE APP
Character Name: self-explanatory
Canon: If the canon has multiple versions, please be specific.
Reference Link: A wiki link is preferable, but anything that has a summary of the canon works. If there is no picture on your link, please provide a reference picture as well. If there is really nothing to link, write a short (no more than 200 words) description of the canon and character appearance.
Character History: A brief summary of your character's background. Only the highlights, please! This section should not be more than 300 words long.
Personality: Can be longer than the history, if necessary, but again, please try to be succinct.
Writing Sample: For this section, you have two choices:
1. Fill out an IC survey (copypaste below)
2. Write a first or third person sample on the subject of your choice. (~300-500 words)

REAPPS
If you want to pick up a character you dropped, just fill out the following:
Character Name:
IC day they were dropped:
Transfer or desynchronization: Which option you took when you dropped
(If you picked transfer) Reaction to product testing: The product testing area of the lab is somewhat different from the RP area! Details can be worked out with the mods, but in general:
- It's light 24/7
- Subjects live in solitary Relaxation Vaults
- You were testing one specific product (the product will be provided when your app is accepted)
- You probably saw these two bozos running around

Canon: The Incredible Hulk/The Avengers (movieverse)
Reference Link: wiki
Character History: Bruce Banner is an excellent example of how experiments can go very, very wrong. Unbeknownst to Bruce, the military project that he thought he was working on, to make humans immune to gamma radiation, is actually about restarting the failed super soldier program that created Captain America. Bruce ends up being exposed to too much gamma radiation and ends up transforming into the big, green rage monster known as the Hulk whenever he becomes angry (or afraid or very excited...). Running away from the military seems like an excellent plan at this stage, but General Ross won't give up on looking for him. To make a long story short, Bruce ends up hiding out for a few years and trying to find a cure for his condition.
After his last escape from General Ross and failed suicide attempt, Bruce spent much of his time moving from looking for a way out to learning how to control his transformation. The Bruce that we meet in The Avengers has become very skilled at managing his anger. Because he's the foremost expert on gamma radiation (and they have a gamma radiation problem on their hands), Bruce ends up being recruited by SHIELD. Bruce is a somewhat reluctant member of the Avengers at first, but he does manage to show up exactly when you need him to help save the world from an alien invasion.
Since becoming the Hulk is a little beyond what the powercap would allow, Bruce isn't going to be able to transform in his clone body. His blood is likely still very weird, but he's stuck in the body of baseline Bruce Banner, no matter how angry he gets.
Personality: Bruce is a brilliant scientist and one of the smartest people around. He's a guy who has issues, but still does his best to help other people despite that. He's something of a loner, a quiet man with a strong sarcastic streak and a self deprecating sense of humor. Of course, the primary reason he's on the run and keeps so much to himself is because of the other guy. This duality is the center of Bruce's identity; he's Dr. Bruce Banner, scientist and all around good guy, but he's also the Hulk as well, the big green rage monster. Bruce's journey is about coming to accept the monster inside and learning how to control it.
When you get down to it, Bruce's life really is all about control. Emotions like anger, fear, and excitement can trigger his transformation into the Hulk. However, at this stage Bruce's ability to restrain himself is pretty damn epic. He is, as he tells Captain America, angry all the time, but he's in control of that anger. It no longer controls him. Even without the ability to "hulk out", Bruce will keep up his control of his emotions.
Bruce himself is clearly tired, bitter, and finds it pretty difficult to trust anyone when he first joins up with the Avengers. He...almost expects to be put in a cage and kept there, and seems almost resigned to this fate. All he wants to do is finish his job and leave, but it's pretty clear that he doesn't think that's happening. However, when someone trusts in him, Bruce does reciprocate and becomes someone that the team can really rely on.
Writing Sample:
01. If given a choice, what would you like to be called?
Bruce is fine. Dr. Banner, if you want to be formal about it.
02. Do you require socks to be part of your uniform?
Uniforms aren't really my thing. They tend to tear too easily, you see. Socks are nice, though. Keep your feet warm, and they help absorb sweat.
03. Not including mandatory periods of silence, what is the longest you have gone without talking?
Mandatory periods of silence doesn't sound ominous at all...
04. Are you plagued by suspicions that other people, including coworkers and relatives, may be doing things behind your back that will hurt you?
Suspicion isn't really the right word. Maybe you should ask Director Fury about who he was saving that cage for.
05. Other than a large egret, what wild animal would you like to domesticate?
Okay, I'm going to pass on this one.
06. Are you functionally incapacitated by witnessing other people's misery?
No, I've become very good at working around misery. It's almost an occupational hazard..
07. What is your favorite flatware for, purely as an example, eating cake?
Eating utensil or dish? It might just be me, but I usually use both.
08. Do you trust yourself?
It's complicated.
09. Please list a crime that only you would know that you have committed.
Look, if I listed something, then I wouldn't be the only one who knows any more.
10. If you disappeared tomorrow would anyone miss you?
No, not for long.
